Arriving Kagoshima airport by morning visit to
Uenohara Iseki, recently discovered ruin which brings us the world of 9500 years old of
Jomon Period. Then drive to Mt.Sakurajima. Board Sakurajima Ferry to Kagoshima port,just like the arrival by St. Francis Xavier. Lunch at Iso Garden, Former Lord’s villa. Afteroon leave for Ibusuki for overnight. Arrival at Ibusuki. |

Visit to Yamagawa port where Yajiro left Japan
to meet St. Xavier. Lunch at Tosenkyo.(Noodle served in local style) Aftenoon to visit Peace Memorial Park in Chiran then to Kagoshima & to visit the Memorial of landing of St.Xavier, Fukushoji-temple,Xavier Park & St.Xavier’s Cathedral. |

Leave hotel for Sendai along Xavier road.Stop by Ijuin-where Xavier granted permission of the propagation of christianity from the lord. Higashiichiki-where Xavier baptized the lord Yasuhisa & left some 100 christians. Sendai Fukushoji Temple-where Buddist priest Ninjitsu’s related temple. Probably you visit Sendai Catholic church related Leon Shichiuemon,the first martyr in Kagoshima. Drive to Kagoshima airport for your flight. |
